What to Do If You Lose a Case

If you lose a small claims case, you have a few options:

📌 Appeal the decision – You must have a legal reason, such as an error in law.

📌 Apply to set aside the judgment – If you were unable to attend for a valid reason.

A County Court Judgment (CCJ) may be recorded on your credit file if unpaid within 30 days.
